Angkor Grill -- Cambodian Bistro

One of my really good friends' family opened up a Cambodian restaurant in my town recently. I've been there before when it first opened but a lot of our friends still haven't had a chance to try it due to our schedules. They also have sister restaurants in Oakland called Phnom Penh House in Chinatown and  the Laurel District, so we were familiar with the food.

When I came back home from school not too long ago, we decided to grab lunch there. It's called Angkor Grill and is located on Park Street in Alameda, California. We ate family style, sharing the main plates with rice on the side. I forgot what we ordered but it was all very delicious! We had a good variety of seafood, beef, and even tofu. For dessert, we all shared the Deep Fried Banana with Pineapple Ice Cream. I'm very lucky to have a friend with a family that knows how to cook :)
